If you are not able to open magnet links in our favourite browser opera to an external application like vuze(or other application), here is the trick.
Open opera preference(Ctrl + F12 or Tools->Preferences) , Go to Programs, Click on the add. Now add magnet protocol as in the given screenshot -
It should work now.
